Acquiring Students for a Innovative Education Startup

Founded by ex-Pixar executives, Story Experiential developed a unique online school to deliver animated storytelling courses taught by industry stars and make it accessible to all students. The trick was to go from organic growth to predictably scale enrollment via discrete paid media. We developed a measured marketing plan across digital platforms - Meta, Google and Email- to combine the one-two punch of awareness-building and student acquisition. Constantly optimized to improve channels, messaging, creative and targets, a six-week campaign in the year-long program drove 722K impressions and 622 sales. Not bad for a media budget under $10K.

Creating The Marketing Playbook for Flagship Events

How do you make event marketing increasingly more efficient and effective when leadership rotates every two years? YPO is the leading member organization for the world's top business leaders. Events like their annual YPO Edge draw thousands and earn millions. As a member-driven organization, member champions would rotate leadership reels including driving the marketing effort for theor top events. We create a Flagship Event Marketing Playbook and Operating System that gave them the tool needed to predictably sellout events. Distilled from over fifteen stakeholder interviews and research, the Playbook and OS established the winning way of collaborating to successfully market events.

Launching an Audio Podcast to Engage Researchers

By creating a new audio podcast from Market Research Institute International (MRII), Insights & Innovators, - we added another media touchpoint to a strong educational brand. The weekly podcast covered timely topics like AI in Market Research, Leadership Lessons from industry stars, and tactical techniques like B2B Segmentation. By creating Podcast Production Playbooks, we empowered MRII members to become the hosts and build the capacity within the organization to record episodes with compelling guests. We edited and packaged the show and made sure it was available via Apple, Spotify and wherever podcasts are found. The first five months of the show delivered over 1500 downloads through organic promotions alone.

Building a YouTube Following for a Research Brand

How do you expand an educational brand through a scaled video program? Market Research Institute International (MRII) needed to go beyond periodic webinars and university courses to engage research professionals with a steady flow of short, insights-you-can-use videos worth subscribing to. We edited and re- packaged their long form content into more than 50 short videos and drove users to subscribe to their YouTube Channel to never miss a video. In 6 months we jumped from a few dozen to over 30K subscribers and over 150K video views - all through careful design, promotion and packaging of existing content

Testing and Optimizing a Digital Media Program to Drive Customer Acquisition for a SaaS Startup

Beefree had built a successful business as the leading email design platform for small to enterprise level business. How could they test digital paid media to test their formulas for the cost of customer acquisition. We designed a strategy across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Google and YouTube that tested audiences, geographies, creative and messaging and different goal optimization to understand what it took to drive scale. We drove over 3100 monthly signups to the service and, more importantly, developed the formula for what worked in paid media.

Defining the Brand, Marketing Org and Operating System for an Insurance Juggernaut

Accretive Insurance Solutions was created out of smart MA activity that pulled together the leading wholesale and specialty insurance agencies under one brand. We needed to define the narrative platform for the new brand - its unique value proposition and competitive advantage. To drive organic growth of the new entity, we designed the orag structure, critical capabilities to have in-house or networked through partners and map the marketing data and technology needs that would fuel that growth
